The Influence of Feet Reflexology and Back Massage on Hemodialysis Patients' Fatigue

End stage renal disease (ESRD) can lead to death and requires replacement therapy. Hemodialysis is a lifelong therapy with frequency of 2-3 times per week for 4-5 hours session. Prolonged dialysis cause stress various psychological social problems that disorders. Fatigue also common feeling experienced by 60-97% patients undergoing hemodialysis. This study used two-group pretest-posttest design t-tests analysing bivariate data distribution univariate data. Measurements were taken before after giving foot reflexology back massages using the FAS Assessment Scale. There 48 who fatigue. After being given intervention, there was decrease in value fatigue scale 1.32 p-value < 0.01. It be concluded massage have an effect on reducing feelings hemodialysis patients.
